Located on the Museum Mile section of 5th Ave. across from Central Park in the exclusive Upper East Side, the Guggenheim Museum building is a modern architectural marvel designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1943 and completed in 1959. The museum collections are some of the most extensive and finest in contemporary art, with facilities in New York, Spain, Italy, and Germany.

The Guggenheim has membership plans that include private viewing of exhibits and banquets and cocktail parties for museum members and it is also available for private parties with arrangements being made by the special event staff.

Museum hours are 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through Wednesday, closed Thursdays, and 9 am to 8 pm Fridays and Saturdays.

As this is such an expansive cultural site, there is no way a brief description can do it justice. For more information on exhibits, events and RP inspiration please see the official website: Guggenheim Museum Official website
