Player Page:Sample Character Profile
From WoD Gotham
Every PC is given a profile page which the player maintains should they wish to. If they do not wish to create a character profile page, one will still be made as part of the sanctioning process by your venue's ST Team and left blank. This is so that the ST team can keep a ST Page associated with your character that is easy for them to access.
Major NPCs are also treated in the same way as PCs when it comes to creating profiles and corresponding ST Pages.
This page is a sample of an effective layout for a major NPC or a PC. Comments are provided for your convenience.

You do not have to disclose your player log in if you do not wish to. You can include a personal quote and even a few pictures.
Description of character. This is where the main physical description goes for both NPCs and PCs.
General vibe that the character may give off at first glance.
As a player it is up to you to decide how much you want to share with the community. You are responsible for letting "spoilers" leak about your character. If you don't keep your information tight, and then there's a meta-gaming incident we'll be hard pressed to help you. Loose lips sink ships.
NPCs should never have this sort of thing included. Please keep information tightly monitored.
However, we don't want to discourage you from expanding on this page and link and many pages as you want to it. Some players might want to include links to chat rooms that their character frequents or owns. Perhaps links to known associates may be helpful if it's common knowledge. Just use your own judgement on what type of balance needs to be struck to remain in your comfort zone as far as access to OOC information goes.
It's up to you if you want to include a place for people to post to your character's profile page.
NPCs don't need anything included here.
It's recommended that you put your play style and your graphic content limitations here.
Below are our identified play styles. Most people are a combination. Pick which one fits you best and then describe where you may differ.
- Casual - You prefer to log in a few times a month up to as much as once a week and just get in character. You really don't expect or want to get involved in ST storylines and enjoy more open gaming and player driven stories. Your character has really no serious gameworld impacting goals to speak of. Your play style might be quite passive. You enjoy socializing IC most. You identify with your characters, but you're not really invested in their growth. IRL is really too busy to really get into things too deeply or you consider RP only a small part of your entertainment time.
- Semi-Hardcore - You are a casual to semi-serious player who logs in more regularly (up to a few times a week). The bulk of your play is in open gaming and player driven stories, but you're up for playing in ST storylines as a change of pace and to meet your character goals. You do have a couple serious milestones you'd like to accomplish with your character. Your play style might be a bit more aggressive as you mix up socializing with a bit of IC scheming. You identify with your characters, and you'd like to see them grow. IRL is really busy, but you try to carve out entertainment time for yourself regularly and keep to it. One of your favoured things to do for entertainment is RP.
- Hardcore - You are a serious player who logs in almost each day. You supplement your involvement in ST stories with open gaming and you enjoy bringing your character's experiences from storylines to the general game population. You are constantly working to achieve a wide variety of character goals and you consider your character's strategy carefully. You find an aggressive play style as your favoured mode. You may not constantly look to PvP or PvE, but you are actively pursuing an agenda and you don't need much prodding from a ST to start planning. You do mix up some open play, but you're disciplined with your character and will happily sit out of play if it makes sense for your character. You do try to get involved in any ST storyline that comes around. You identify intimately with your characters and you are actively growing them in game and in downtime. You are busy IRL, but you have definite entertainment time almost every day. Your favourite thing to do for entertainment is to RP.
